Every year on the Prince’s Trust programme, we are offered a tennis programme at Gosling Park Welwyn and our learners are taught by professional coaches. The 6-week course also fits into some of our units needed for their qualification. They get the opportunity to learn a new sport and gain new skills. 

They play for 6 weeks and then have a tournament with other Prince’s Trust groups around the area. If they win, we get given tickets to visit Wimbledon and to date, we have won 6 times and they all had an amazing experience there.

The learners have also won trophies for best boy/girl, most improved player and an overall winners’ trophy and certificates.
